Urban Farm and AgriLife Extension Service Facility

Thus far, Commissioner Calvert has secured $1.2 Million for the Urban Farm and $2.8 Million for AgriLife Facility projects. The Urban Farm will provide fresh fruit and vegetables to residents nearby as well as address community health needs. Development of a county-owned AgriLife Extension Service facility to be built on location at the Urban Farm will save taxpayer money by constructing a permanent facility for service.
